Checking out photo quality with new blogger

Good Saturday morning Folks ~ I went out a few minutes ago to take more pics with my phone to see how they post here with new blogger format. One of my followers mentioned she went out to do her own experiment and the photos seems blurry to her also. She also read about others saying the quality of photos wasn't the same.

So, here goes. The first pic seems ok. I did notice on a couple of these photos that when I clicked on xtra large size, it fades out the picture, not GOOD at all, maybe blogger will change things the more feedback they get. Their photo format before put out very good quality photos. I guess time will tell.

These close-ups seem fine to me.

Got my Walmart order yesterday. A friend had blessed me with a gift card, and I am thankful for her generosity. Nice to have a stash of TP. I didn't realize that my brown rice was 2 5# pkgs, but that's ok, I won't have to buy it for awhile. ;-)

Ok, that's it from Plum Cottage. Have a great weekend.

You're photos all look good to me. I still haven't switched. I'm waiting till I have plenty of time to sit and figure it out.

The necessities, down here TP was limited for many weeks, no matter what brand. Flour was in such short supply, and lots more items too. Your flowers are so beautiful , close up looks wonderful.

Lorraine: Your photos are gorgeous. I saw that they are going to switch but didn't know how or what it meant so thought I'd just wait and figure it out. I had no idea that there was the photos involved, so I will give it a try..Stay well..xxoJudy

If it is easier it would be worth it. I spend a lot of time editing photos. Your flowers look great as usual.

My corner is currently going through a lot of empty shelves when, just a couple of weeks ago, things seemed fine. Peanut butter is in short supply and since that's one of my staples I'm hoping some will come in. Tomorrow I go on a search for tp. That could prove interesting.

I see that you are doing further investigative work on picture quality. Everything looks good today. I hope that blogger will get it sorted. Their usual stance is nothing they've done would affect picture quality. We'll see.

Hi Lorraine,
Nice to see your flowers. I bet your garden is so beautiful. Thanks for reading my newsletter and sending me kind words. It always uplifts my day! I'm curious to know your blogger and photo dilemna. I hope you get it sorted out. Will catch up now on a few more of your blog posts.

Toilet paper doesn't seem to be a problem around here. But hand sanitizer and rubbing alcohol surely is. Glad you were able to get what you needed, Lorraine. Your photo quality is great. I don't seem to get good photos with my phone. I have my late husbands camera, which I would like to use, but I first need to get a charger cord. I lost it somewhere along the road. I don't enjoy photography with my phone. I know others get good quality, but I just don't seem able to achieve it. Enjoy that Florida sunshine! Hugs, Nancy

Sometimes Blogger doesn't like the bigger sizes, maybe try uploading to a image optimizer service, they are free and don't affect the quality of the pic, just make it a more manageable size.
Cheers

Hi Flower Lady! Your flowers look great! We've been picking up our groceries to at Walmart. So much easier, that I may continue shopping that way for a while. I had to laugh when you mentioned your rice, I ordered flour and ended up with a 10 lb bag! I should have looked at the description closer haha. Things are going well here in Montana. Still social distancing, carrying gel and wearing masks. But I really don't go out anywhere. I am content to hang around in my garden and home. You take care. Love, KK

Hi Lorraine! I hesitate to switch to a new Blogger. Some time ago they did something, and some pictures disappeared or moved from the center of the pages, and I didn't like it. Hope nothing bad happens this time, but many reviews are not good.
Your pictures look good! Maybe we are just critical to ourselves!
Wish you the best! Take care, Dear blogging Friend!

I haven't switched to new blogger yet, and don't know enough about it yet. But that red rose made my heart sing this morning, it's beautiful. So glad that you got some goodies at Walmart. They always seem to have what we need there. My brother bought me a refill of antibacterial soap there, and it lasted for a long time. I was so grateful. Don't ya just love that 'Great Grains' cereal? I first tried it awhile back, and now I'm hooked haha.

I didn't know there had been changes to blogger photos. I need to go do a post, and check it out. It did seem to me that there was a bit of fuzziness/grainyness to your photos. Not sure.
