Jesus loves the little children

Dear Friends ~ my heart aches for all that is going on, not only the pandemic around the whole world, but the latest developments in the US. May Jesus have mercy on us all. May hearts and lives be touched and changed for good.

A song came to mind this morning, one learned as a little girl, 'Jesus Loves the Little Children'. We grow up and become adults, but really, we are still God's children, created to be loved and loving. Let us remember this true calling no matter what our age is, no matter our skin color.

Love, hugs and prayers ~ FlowerLady

That is a simple old song, but just as true today as it was way back when.

A sweet song.

The violence is so sad, beyond my comprehension. I have tried to ignore some of the worst, and make the positives come up to the top.XXX for your words today.

All of us(the whole human race)have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and that's why we all need Jesus so we can have peace with God. So glad he loved us enough to die for us.

I just can't bring myself to watch the details of how we Americans are
behaving and the violence that these people are incurring. Too over
whelming and disheartening, when we should be concentrating on helping
and peace. Thank you for the reminder of the song! Fun to bring back
some good young memories, too often buried under life.

We all just have to remember Jesus has your backs. While all this ugly and anger and unseen virus are among us so is our faith. I pray we will all get to a new normal that is more full of peace and love. Somedays you just have to shut off the TV and go out into the garden and find peace and beauty and hope. Stay safe sweet friend.
Hugs,
Kris

Great song. Sorry for your country and all the turmoil going on right now. Outside in the garden is helping me tune out all this bad news.
God bless

In our Lutheran church up here in Minnesota, we sing "Children of the Heavenly Father" by Christina Sandell-Berg. She was a Swedish composer and a friend of the queen of Sweden. I like her hymn. Phil, Minnesota

Yes, we are all God's children and He loves us all, with His gift of undeserved love, and His offer of eternal life to those who tell Him yes. I hope we will find a peaceful way forward.

It's been a long while since I've landed over here on your blog...I've missed you, and all your encouraging post. May we all just be faithful in loving more and praying harder! Glad to see you are doing okay with all that had gone on this year. I hope to do better checking in on you from time to time!
