Hope you all had a nice long holiday weekend. Hope your week is a good one too.
Well, moving the computer was a several hour project and I am pooped, mental exhaustion more than physical, but I am so thrilled to have accomplished something I’ve only done once, and the last time DH was here to walk me through the steps. I won’t be so intimidated the next time.
Each little new thing done sure makes one feel good.
Here is a photo of the computer in it’s new place. I sat in the chair and turned it on and it worked, I got online too. Sweet relief!

You have a nice computer area and set it up yourself, well done!

You deserve a pat on the back, Lorraine! And your desk area & surroundings make for a very inviting place to compute, I think...
Yeah!!!! for you. I know the good feeling when one does something never before attempted alone.
Stellar Job, you go girlfriend!!!!!
I am so proud of you. Looks Fab too!!
Hugs and Love
Yay!!! So happy for you and it looks lovely. I can picture you sitting there surrounded by all your precious memories.
Your desk looks so tidy. The first time I moved my computer was intimidating. I found I could do it! If I were to do it now, I think I'd take a photo of the back with all he 'plug-ins' so that I could refer to it when I set it up again.
I remember the first time I had to move the computer and try to remember where everything plugged in! It was such a sense of achievement when it all worked after turning on the power! Well done to you. Now it will be a piece of cake if you do move it again.
What a nice space for the computer. I have often taken a close-up photo of my many hookups when I have to move something....just in case I forget what went where.
Good job. Each new thing you do makes you more independent which is a very good thing.
Great job, and what a lovely little computer corner indeed! Have also just read your previous post (busy time of year for me, so I get a little behind on my blogging), and I must say you should be proud of what you have been able to accomplish yourself! It's the little imperfections that make life perfect! Cheers~
Bravo Lorraine! Your desk corner looks so wonderful. It is a little scary at times to do these things on our own but we find out we are quite able with most things.
I did have an email sign up for my blog but it was clear on the bottom along with my Followers list. I now have them on the sidebar so they are easier to find.
Way to go! And surrounded by your favorite art pieces and lamp perhaps?
Great job! And what a cozy, pretty place to work! Your husband's paintings are just beautiful!
Good job, Lorraine!
What a wonderful and pretty place to sit and work on the computer. You must be so proud of yourself. I would have to have you come up my way to set mine up if I ever moved it... no way could I put it back together and have it work!
The whole area looks just wonderful . . . cozy and inviting. Loved reading in your earlier post about the artwork.
Have a great week and keep up the good work!

Moving a computer for the first time can be a daunting task- great job Lorraine, I like your new desk arrangement.
To my tech guy (kid)-moving a computer is nothing. To me, it is major. I think you and I are cut from the same cloth! Way to go!
Looks very pretty Rainey! I'm in awe that you could cut that beadboard and put it up. And moving the computer and all it's wiring seems even a greater accomplishment!
What a cozy little spot for you to work in.Isn't it amazing what you can do..
if you just put your mind to it and pray a little?
Thank you for all your thoughtful comments and prayers for our family. It just goes to show that life is a circle. First you needed prayers and now someone else....and on and on.
Blessings to you always,
Balisha
