Finished at last :-)

Finally, this afternoon I sat down in my little room, and finished my Eastern bluebird embroidered piece. Hurray! I still have to buy some mounting board to mount it too, and the frame in the last picture is the one I think I'm going to frame the piece in. The overall size is approximately 5"x5".

Thank you Sweetbay for allowing me to use one of your photos for this piece.

Someone has already shown interest and if she wants it, I won't be putting it in my little Etsy shop. I'll let you all know when I have my little shop open.

Thanks for looking.

Opps, actually it's rain, not waves. Still like it anyway. Linda

I guess I need to go back and read some history on your embroidery work. You did that from a photograph? That is a truly beautiful piece of embroidery.

Thank you all so much for your kind, encouraging comments.

When I first saw the photo of Sweetbay's my immediate reaction was it would make a nice needlework piece. I asked her permission and she graciously gave it.

It was intimidating, but now it's done and I enjoyed doing this.

Thanks again ~ FlowerLady
