Good morning Friends ~ September sure zipped on by. Some of you are really feeling fall temperatures, while down here in s.e. FL it is still hot and humid. We've also had rain, rain and more rain for several days now, with more expected this week.
In this time of isolation it has been hard to really celebrate the life that we are now living. We can easily be pulled down into a funk, and it can be hard to get back out of. Then something lovely like the sun shining through lace curtains or stained glass can make one feel thankful.
Doing little projects like getting rid of the microwave that I didn't use except for storage has made a difference in the scullery.
as did making curtains for the cabinet that one door came off and I couldn't get it back on, and for under the little counter top that the bread machine is sitting on.
Below are pics of before and after of one of my procrastination areas. I'm ashamed to show the first, but it's part of who I am. It has been so nice to keep this cleaned up each night, although I have had some lapses in doing so 'every' night.
