I found this in an artist’s pad of paper yesterday as I was going through some things. I can remember posing for this many moons ago, I was in my early thirties at the time.

Every day I miss my dear husband,

every day I feel his love and see his love

evidenced in so many ways here

in our little haven.

***

Every day God is my strength.

Every day is new.

May I graciously grow older

trusting in God

who works all things out.

What a beautiful pastel. I didn't realize both you and Mark were artists.

Lovely blooms. What kind of flowers are those blue ones with the bee?

You WILL frame that portrait, won't you?

The flowers? I haven't words to express my appreciation for your skills - photographically & agriculturally!

And the caravan. Be still my heart! THIS time I see a FACE on its end. Do YOU see it?

I always enjoy the visual delight of your flowers so much Lorraine - the pastel is exquisite, I had no idea your DH was an artist as well.
Perhaps there is more to come across as you go through things?
Much love across the oceans

This very well suits for the GBBD meme. I know i love that Clerodendrum ugandense, i wonder why i haven't planted it yet, this shot reminds me again to look for it. I love that long shot of your cottage built for you by your husband, and we have followed the developments in there in so many posts. I feel like i've lived there too. haha, and yes that profile painting is so lovely. Take care Lorraine.

The portrait is beautiful. You're such a beautiful woman, Lorraine. I bet Mark told you that all the time, didn't he?

Your flowers are stunning. I love them all. I can just see you strolling the garden, sniffing and snipping and remembering. May God surround you with his love today and every day.
