This mornings rainbows

Good morning everyone ~ While sitting here at my desk I would occasionally look out the window and could see the morning clouds. After awhile, I was nudged to go outside with camera and what a wonderful surprise awaited me.  I just couldn’t believe it and thanked God the Creator of the universe for such a delightful gift.  I couldn’t quit smiling.

I’m sure you’ve all heard the story of Noah and the flood.

Here is God’s promise to him and now to us.

And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:

I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:

And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

Gen 9:12-16 KJV Bible

Wow, how so lovely together with the reminder for us! I have seen many rainbows, in fact sometimes there are two, however i haven't seen it from my area both in the province and in the city. Rainbows really give lots of highs!

Rainbows are so magnificent, we always remember the last time we saw one. I am glad this put a smile on your face, it makes me smile too, as a thing of beauty and a reminder of God's love.

Thank you SOOO much for sharing these pictures today. It seems like our thoughts were in harmony. :-) I too can't help but think of those verses when I see a rainbow, and the promise that God made, and to know He remember that covenant each time He places it there. Pretty powerful and humbling. Thanks for again for sharing.

What a gorgeous rainbow! And a double one at that! Rainbows have a way of making us stop whatever we're doing and stand in awe. Truly it is a gift.

This lovely post immediately reminded me of my mother, as she always used to say a rainbow was God's promise. Whenever I see a rainbow I know God is promising me that one day I will be with her again! Thanks for sharing.

Wow, a double rainbow -- don't see too many of those! The way the rainbows occur here it usually likes the pot of gold is on our neighbor's farm.

Thank you for your well wishes. Your rainbow surely made me feel better. How lovely that you were coaxed to go outside with your camera to receive God's gift.

Beautiful photographs.

Oh yes, I love this promise from our Lord.
You bless me with these beautiful
images.
Have a good evening.
Sunny but cool here by the woods.
I do believe - we are going to have an early winter.
