A commercial with a lesson on niceness?! I wonder if they really show that in China.
Hi Debbie ~ I don't know the answer to that. The lesson of the video to me was that 'you can shine' through and in spite of adversity.

P.S. Debbie ~ I just went to the you tube page for this video and it said this "Thai Pantene television commercial. It's simply brilliant. The story of a deaf and mute girl who learns to play the violin against all odds."
The actors were speaking in their language and the sub-titles were for us who speak English, so I assume it was/is shown in their country.
There are truths to be learned from all over the world.

Catherine ~ I wouldn't be surprised that it's based on a true story. There are certainly lots of stories out there that are similar, dreams, hopes and bullies, and triumph in the end.
