Have a Great Weekend

Good morning folks. Here it is Saturday already, the middle of July. It has been terribly hot and humid here. We've been doing some work outside early in the mornings and by 9 can't take being out there anymore, when it feels like it's 103. The humidity is what does it. It just saps you of your energy.

Anyway, life goes on each day, we do what we can when we can. We had another big thunderstorm yesterday afternoon. The rain is great though, so I'm not complaining, especially after being in drought conditions for almost 4 years.

Whatever you do this weekend, have fun, don't work too hard, drink plenty of water to keep hydrated, and be thankful for your many blessings big and small.

It is supposed to be super hot here today too...I have the kiddie pool set up for the kids later today. We are just hanging out today helping my sister-in-law move her family in a few houses down the road. I hope you enjoy your weekend too! :0)

It's been hot here too, although we don't have the high humidity. We're working outside this weekend on our deck although it's mostly in shade.
Hope it cools a bit for you.

The jet stream is all messed up right now and it now runs below Missouri. We had 51 degrees last night, Canada weather and my furnace turned on and ran an hour. We have that oppressive heat and humidity normally and I think we will join you soon. God's blessings to you and yours and stay inside and cool.

Good morning everyone. Hope you had a nice day yesterday and have a lovely one today. We had a good thunderstorm last evening, giving us more rain. It's really getting like a jungle around here, things growing so fast I can't keep up with it. At least all of you up north, get a break during the winter from growing things. Down here things don't quit growing so that it's a 365 day a year project. :-)

Summer is here along with heat and humidity. May we all have fun and survive the best we can.

Lilsista ~ I'm sure the kids and maybe grownups too will enjoy the pool. Do you have it still in the greenhouse? Have fun moving your SIL into her new home.

Catherine ~ Working in the shade is so much nicer than working in the sun. The other morning before 9 we working behind out cottage in the sun, and all of a sudden I felt light headed and funny and told DH I had to sit down, which I did. He said that's it, we're done for the day. I checked when we came in on the weather site and although it was only 85 or 89, it felt like it was 103. It won't cool down here until around Oct/Nov.

Jenny ~ I'd love to have your cool temps. 68 sounds great to me.

Sylvia ~ Thank you for visiting and your kind comment. I clicked on your name, but up came a msg. that said cannot find server for your blog my-trinkets.

L.D. ~ Wow you are having some chilly temps. They sound great though, but probably not to you. If we didn't have the humidity, it wouldn't be as bad. Hope you are spared really miserable temps.

Have a great day and week.
