It is a few minutes after 4 and is 61 degrees. I was out earlier and took some pictures. Only one photo in this batch is from the other day. I just love this hibiscus. I found it at Home Depot a couple of months after my dear husband left this planet to be with his creator. The blooms drew me over and then when I saw the name of this one I couldn't get it into my cart fast enough.

I turned it upwards to get a whiff of the scent, aaahh and to see it.
Now for the final bloom of the day. A wonderfully scented lavender rose. It came without a tag when I bought it.
I have enjoyed sharing these blooms from my wet gardens, but I have NOT enjoyed working in blogger at all on this post. I am really peeved to put it mildly. :-) It takes much longer to work on because of all of the going back and forth with the html code to get it right, and even then it doesn't all look the way I want it to. Sheesh! (OK, FlowerLady, calm down, take a deep breath and hit the post button. It's not the end of the world.) I am going to be looking for another free open live writer program. Some people are leaving and going to wordpress, but I can't afford to do that financially and they say it is a lot of work to switch over.
So, with that, may I along with the all of you, remember to not sweat the small stuff and to stop and smell the roses. Life is too short to be aggravated over petty things.

That hibiscus has beautiful color shadings and of course you had to buy it when you saw its delightful and meaningful name.
Your flowers are gorgeous. I would have snagged up that hibiscus called hugs and kisses too. It's like it was meant to be.
A while back when several bloggers were moving over to word press I decided to try it. I hated it. I never even got one post written on it before I gave up. I couldn't understand it at all. I'll stick with blogger with all it's quirks.
You blog looks really good to me, Lorraine. Have you tried writing directly in blogger itself? That is what I do and then I just insert my pictures where I want them.
Your flowers are all gorgeous and I think flowers with raindrops on them have a special beauty.

Flowers, raindrops, and perfume. The lavender bloom is my pick for today. Blogger, I am still trying to get Open Live Writer to play nicely. Guess I'll have to migrate to doing it just on Blogger too. I will look for another program and let you know if any would be OK. These flowers are extra lovely with the water droplets. For what it’s worth, I use blogger and have no problems with it.
Your flowers are just beautiful, and the rain drops make them even prettier. My sister and brother-in-law are in Florida. They left last Thurs. and will be there all next week. Can't remember where. :( Wish I was with them.

Oh yes, that Hugs n Kisses in superb! And the sweet sentimental attachment is darling. I'm always amazed at the variety of your flowers. Wish I could smell that white rose!
I don't really understand why you prefer the live writer--which I know nothing about. It's so easy for me to do a post in blogger. Is there a reason why you do the other instead of posting directly on blogger? I'm confused, Lorraine! I hope it starts working for you, if that's what you like most.
Look at all your wonderful blooms! Your roses are amazing. I wish I had your tendency to adopt little orphaned rose bushes and make them flourish :)
I've always just used Blogger to make my posts. I guess I'm not understanding why it is hard. Occasionally I'll click over and look at the 'coding' under the html button, but usually I just stick with using the 'compose' button when I'm writing and putting photos in. I do enlarge my text/font/size, and I enlarge my photos. Old eyes don't like to squint!! :)
I'm glad you are persevering through your blog tribulations! It is maddening sometimes when the page will not format the way you want. I never had to use any html on Blogger - I hope you find a way to make it easier on yourself!
