Question about PayPal

Good morning folks ~ I'd like to hear from anyone who sells their artwork/handmade items on their blogs and uses PayPal. I am thinking of doing this in my ArtistikUs ElastikUs blog.

Thanks for any help or info.

I use it for all my artwork I sell, it does take a cut out of your profits, but most people use it for many online sales ( then just do cashiers checks, money orders..or wait 10 business days for personal checks to clear ). If your items are not high priced, you may want to forgo it. But it helps international sales, and just people used to buying off eBay , in particular use it . take care, Gina

I use it to purchase things online and I even pay the guy who mows my lawn with it. I like it from a shopping point of view. No experience with the selling side.

I've only used PayPal for purchases as well. But,I'm interested in selling some vintage clothing and various items but don't know how to go about doing so.

I use PayPal quite often from selling on Ebay to paying for items that use PayPal for payments. They do take a percentage when you use it from the item sold so you may want to adjust your selling prices to make allowance for that so you will get the price you really want for your item when it sells. It is a very useful system and safe.

Thank you all for your input.

Mrs. Mac ~ If I get it figured out, I'll let you know.

We do have a PayPal account. I was just wondering if anyone sells things on their blogs and uses PayPal and how it works on the blog.

I'm still doing research.

I have gone to buy items on Zazzle, but was not able to because I don't list a credit card on my Paypal. I don't remember if I've tried since finding out I could put the number of my ATM card on it so it would not be connected to a credit card. I avoid using credit cards.

Anyway, from a buyer's point of view, I am more likely to buy something online if I can use Paypal. If there are others like me, then you may reach more buyers that way. My local recycling company has us pay using Paypal, too.
