Rain kissed roses

Good morning Friends ~ We had rain much of the night, sometimes heavy, it is still raining off and on this morning. I grabbed my camera earlier and headed out to see what I could capture for your viewing pleasure. More roses, what else. :-)

Hope you all have a lovely day, rain or shine. I'll be heading off to work later. Plan to get dinner going in the crockpot before I leave.

Beautiful, Flower Lady! Raindrops on roses are one of my favorite things! We've had constant rain all night as well...into the day. Nothin' better than a warm, rainy day!

You have no idea how wonderful and cheery these rose picture are for us northern girls. We never tire of them.

Your getting the same rain as Georgia and the Carolina's. Your roses look great. Thanks for sharing.

There is nothing as beautiful as a rose, except for one that has been touched by rain.

Thank you for taking the effort to get these pictures for us. They are stunning!

And yes - they are like a breath of spring and summer for us northerners. We will get more snow yet for another couple of months before we get any rain. Sigh. I love the rain.

Roses kissed with rain. Perfect.

Roses are roses, always lovely! BTW this is my first visit here via Noelle's. It is envious that you already have the rain. Here, many provinces have already been declared in the state of calamity because the agricultural lands are cracking dry, crops dried without harvests, fishes float in lakes and ponds, and people are becomming depressed and hopeless. Our dams are already approching critical levels, we pray for rain. But they normally come with typhoons and floods. Yet that is okay with us as long as there is rain.... thank you.

We have had similar weather, over six inches of rain this week! Your roses are wonderful. I enjoyed this post as well as your previous one. The Homere rose is simply stunning. I love its romantic abundance of petals and its lovely blush color.

Such beautiful rain kissed roses! I just adore the white roses ... but that yellow one is gorgeous as well.

Thanks for visiting my blog ... I'm glad you enjoyed the post about the Cocky Apple tree. It is a fascinating native.
