Good morning everyone ~ Well, it’s morning here in s.e. FL. We have had LOTS of rain this week, more expected today and tomorrow. But, we are seeing blue skies.
I went out this morning for a look around, and came back in for the camera.
This is the scene that made me come in for camera.
The clouds with brown in them are rain clouds, but they blew on over.

"It is a glorious privilege to live,
to know, to act, to listen,
to behold, to love.
To look up at the blue summer sky;
to see the sun sink slowly
beyond the line of the horizon;
to watch the worlds come twinkling into view,
first one by one,
and the myriads that no man can count,
and lo!
the universe is white with them;
and you and I are here.”

Magnificent cloud formations...we hit the first day of winter here in southern Australia, and it was bleak and rainy. Not that I saw much as I went back to school on my Saturday to write reports!
Beautiful flowers and I really like the sky shots. The sky is a never ending source of beauty.
Beautiful photos of things (like palm trees, for instance)that we don't have in our area; a wonderful way for me to learn about our country. Your roses are gorgeous! and oh how I'd love to have a secret garden path!
Beautiful flowers--and love the walk between the buildings. What a lovely property and a lovely day!
Such beauty
our world is wonderful...
What beautiful clouds. We had some spectacular clouds today too... but I wasn't smart enough to take photos! Duh! :) Thanks for sharing yours!
Good morning Lorraine,
It's very early Sunday moring here in the UK. I can see why you went back in for the camera, and the secret garden path is magical. So much for the eye to see. The piece by Marco Morrow is very thought provoking, and to look up at the stars at night often makes me feel suddenly very small in the whole scheme of things. Have a lovely weekend.
You got some great cloud photos. Some lovely blooms for you now.

I am so glad you went back and got the camera! I haven't mastered taking shots of the sky.
I am very impressed by that neat path to the secret garden. Nothing neat here these days!
HI Lorraine, Love seeing your beautiful skies and flowers. Granada is a gorgeous rose... WOW.... I'm so happy since many of our roses are blooming now... Love it!!!!
Have a wonderful Sunday.
Hugs,
Betsy
You sure have a mighty fine camera!!! Love your close ups! The skies have been bluer today, but this evening kinda overcast again! I am already ready for fall though...it is too hot by 9:30am, isn't it??? I have to let my yard be on auto pilot all summer! Things either make it or they don't! LOL.
That last rose is spectacular!!!
Take care my Florida friend!

Hello Rainey, love the cloud pictures, they are very pretty. Clouds are fascinating and they change so quickly. The red rose is breathtaking, too. Your garden is so lovely. Hugs, Karen
Hi Lorraine- Your garden is lovely!
You and I are in the same rain pattern which is good for our garden flowers but I'm weary of seeing storm clouds.
wishing you a happy day ~:)
Don't you just love to look at the sky? Reminds me of when my kids were growing up and we used to lie out on a blanket and watch cloud formations. They change so quickly.
Love your flowers.

Beautiful blue sky and flowers. Who could ask for more! We've been getting some steady rain up my way which has been wonderful! Have a great week.
And the skies proclaim His glory! Such beautiful pictures Lorraine. Your Granada rose is just so pretty. I love the oranges and pinks. Have a wonderful week.
Lots of rain means lots of flowers and a lower water bill, right? :)
Are those plumerias in the foreground of your first sky shot? I bet they're delightful. Your garden just takes my breath away. I hope you're doing well, sweet friend.
Oh with that condition of the skies, your plants am sure will be very happy. Our rainy season hasn't started normally in May, it is already June and we officially haven't yet our rainy season. Slight showers some afternoons are not enough to quench our plants. Your plumerias are already so tall.
Oh, I love watching clouds in the sky. May and June are rather dry months for us, so there are few clouds to watch. But, the monsoon season will soon arrive in July with its dark, thunderclouds.
Your rose is just beautiful!
Noelle
