December in Florida

A few pictures starting with sunrise this morning. Today is DH's birthday and I've been working on making him a special dinner throughout the day. I made him a Boston Cream Pie, with a twist. The cream filling is peanut butter flavored, as I added 1/2 c. peanut butter to it. :-) A Thai carrot salad, Thai zucchini with bits of carrot, mashed potatoes, a pan seared rib-eye steak, and wine.

Have a great week.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

I forgot to say how comfy your kitty looks. Did you make that afghan? I like those colors.

Hello FlowerLady,

Florida is just beautiful in December. My husband would just love it if I made a Boston Creme Pie for him. But, he is contenting himself eating a Boston Creme Pie flavored yogurt instead ;-)

Good morning Ladies ~ It is a chilly 48 degrees here this morning, feels like it's 44. For us that's cold. It is a comfortable 68 in our little cottage without a heater on. We haven't even gotten it down out of the attic yet. It's a radiant heat, heater that we 'found' many years ago.

Anyway, thanks for visiting and your kind comments.

Becky ~ They can be addicting. You can't just have one.

Sue ~ Dinner turned out really nice. We both enjoyed it. Then we watched the 3 hour finale of Survivor. Yes I crocheted that afghan many years ago.

AZPlantLady ~ The Boston Cream Pie was delicious with it's peanut butter cream filling. Kind of like a giant peanut butter cup. BCP yogurt sounds yummy.

Have a lovely Christmas week.

Beautiful photographs - and a happy time. At least we have colorful sunsets, even here, over our white flowerless landscape. Merry Christmas to you.

Think I'll move to Florida! LOL

You have so many beautiful blooms. Love, love, those pink blooms!

I need some sunshine, but we're heading out to LA in January (husband's nephew is out there).

Wishing your DH a happy birthday. Those skies are beautiful, the flowers too! It must be lovely having so many roses this time of year. Your cat is so cute. They have such a knack for finding the most comfortable places. :)

As the ice chunks are falling from our big trees and land on our roof, I can view this most beautiful set of photos. Thanks for sharing...
