As I was sitting here piddling in my computer, I noticed that the sky had a certain cast in color, and I could hear thunder in the distance, so I grabbed the camera and headed out.
This first picture was from the back of the house, looking east.
This next picture was from up front looking south east. What a treat!
The last picture was looking west, a totally different color of sky.
The storm passed us by after all.
Have a nice evening everyone and a peaceful, healing good night's sleep.

I love these pictures. I like seeing the palm tree in the first and then the beautiful rainbow. Glad the storm passed you by.
Hello there,
It has been awhile since I have posted over here, but I do read, I've been so busy lately. I thought I would stop by and say hello. You have such great pictures on your blog, it's a treat.
Great pictures, I love the painting at your side bar of the wren, it would go great on my blog.

Catherine ~ The first picture really got me as I went out the back door and looked east. I love the sun shining on the trees and the dark, cloudy sky behind.
Sunday Girl ~ There you are. Long time no see. Hope you are doing well. Glad you enjoy the pics.
Jenny ~ You can get that tag, of the wren by clicking on the picture, and it will take you to the lady's website who made this and others. They are free for the taking. I really liked that one.
Have a great week ~ FlowerLady
glad the storm missed you. WE expect snow tonight possibly...if not just frost! I hate it!
I took photos of a storm last summer where the clouds looked like an angry face looking straight down...it ended up taking out several buildings when it turned into a funnel cloud! Lucky for me..it missed my neighborhood!
Thanks for joining on to my blogs. I can see we live in a different climates and that is what makes this blogging so fun. I am really interested in seeing and learning from the people around us. You have a great site. I will need to catch up by reading your past blogs.
Tootsie ~ Snow! Good grief, you just got things going there in your gardens. I hope you survived this latest cold spurt. Wow, an angry face in the clouds which turned into a funnel cloud which did damage to property. YIKES! Glad it missed your neighborhood.
L.D. ~ Yes we live in different zones. Your photography spoke to me, so I wanted to follow for further inspiration.
Have a great week everyone.

Thank Goodness the storm did no damage to you, but everything thrives after the rain. I've been trying to spot a rainbow for a while, but I always miss them, maybe this summer!
