Flower Universes

Good afternoon everyone. It has been a quiet Sunday here. I took some pictures this morning to add to some I took the other day. A friend in a gardening forum had asked me to take some more 'flower universe' pictures. I've been editing them, then made them into an album. It was another fun project using my new photo program and my Jalbum program.

I hope you will enjoy the show.

How lucky to have all these pretty blooms now! I've never seen walking iris, it has very interesting flowers. I thought it was a toad lily at first. Thanks for sharing!

Good morning Catherine ~ Walking iris also comes in blue, which I'd love to have. I'll have to do a posting on this neat little plant. Glad you enjoyed.

Love the photos. Great way to display them. A friend recently gave me a walking iris. I just love it

Lovely pictures! So that's what a Walking Iris bloom looks like -- very exotic. I love 'Cocktail' too.

Good morning everyone ~ I'm just in from mowing, took a nice outdoor shower and now I'll try to get some posts answered. It is very warm and humid here. This weather makes us feel ill every summer. We have to do what we need to do outdoors in the mornings before it gets too miserable out.

Thank you all for your kind comments about my flower photography.

Dirt Princess ~ Walking irises are really neat. You'll enjoy it.

Tootsie ~ It's a tropical iris, from Brazil. I wish I could grow the ones you northerners can grow. But alas, they don't like our heat and humidity.

Sweet bay ~ Cocktail is rather shocking in color, so I have her in my clothesline bed. I loved the way the morning sun was hitting her when I took those pictures.

Have a great day everyone.
