My 'Sailor' is now with his Maker.
I am proud of him for serving his tour of 4 years, near the end of the Vietnam War.
I am proud of all who are serving in the military, proud of those who have served in the past, whichever branch you are in.
Thank you.
Sincerely,

I like this post and tribute to veterans. At church yesterday we honored veterans and about 20 stood up when asked who had served, 19 men and a woman.
Those who served, those who waited at home, we all need to remember the sacrifice that so many made so we can live where we are right now.
My husband's twin brother also served in the Navy with a tour of duty in Viet Nam on a destroyer. He has spoken very little of that time.
I honor your late husband's service to our country.
A big thank you to all who served our country.
So very thankful for those men and women who have and are serving our country.
Thinking of you, dear lady as you remember your beloved DH.
Much Love to you~
Thank you for your family's service, Rainey! My dad was retired Navy (21 years).
