That song is near the top of my list of favourite old songs.

I remember singing this in Sunday School in the 40's so it must have been in our hymnals. I just looked it up and see that it was written in 1897 by Johnson Oatman, Jr. What a cheery song to start a day - thank you dear Flower Lady!

Sweet song Rainey, just like you. I didn't catch the name of the singer, she has a nice style.

I had to come back and hear this precious hymn and see the video again as it's such a happy, happy tune.

When I count my blessings and write them down in my "Thankful Journal" YOU are one of those delightful blessings, dear Lorraine.

God bless you~

Dear, dear Flower Lady,

Thank you SO much for coming to visit my blog. It is a bittersweet thing, isn't it, to fall in love, to grow up in love with someone, then have to face the reality one day that this love MUST morph into something else. That "something else" is something we have not yet seen or experienced, yet I know it is divine. It is hard however, to face up to the moment when what you know is inevitable could be at the threshold of your prime. Thank you so much for visiting.
