Hello Folks ~ just a quick note with an update on Lavon. I got a text from Shana a little while ago and here is what it said.
***
4hr surgery... he is in recovery...could not clear artery... he actually had a blockage on left side too... they were able to put a stint in left pelvis and ran a bypass vein from left side through his pelvis to his right side and then bypass artery and used a new vein down leg...not sure yet if his toes and bottom of foot will be saved but we have to wait and see... he will be in icu for a day or two then maybe home Thursday if all goes well...he's got a long road of recovery

God can and does work miracles. Thank you for your prayers.

So thankful your friend is doing well. My sister-in-law just had 6 stints put in her and she is not doing well. She is in Seattle Washington and too far for us to drive. Her daughters keep us updated daily which we are thankful for. Old age is just not any fun.

The medical profession can do so much nowadays but a prayer or two certainly will not do any harm. I wish your friend all the best.
I am praying for recovery for your friend.
Sending prayers for your friend. Hugs for you xx Karen
Thankfully we can leave even all things troubling things in God's hands.
Huge surgery, and I am sure that all the theatre staff had prayers for them too. Hope all the recovery goes well .As our GP said to Hugh after his heart attacks, "Old age might not be much fun but the alternative is definitely not attractive".Hugs to you , and your friends as well up north.
Praise the Lord,praise the Lord!!
Continuing to pray.
Bless you~
That's good news! We'll keep praying.
Prayers continue for a speedy recovery. Amazing that he can go through all that and could be home by Thursday
Sure hope all goes well and he can go home. Hope and pray too that this surgery will help his pain.
Praying for a miracle for him! Poor man!
Really, that is an amazing solution. Thanks for the update. Prayers DO help.
xx, Carol
