Five days later …

the missing and left behind piece is found.  Can you believe it?  When I left work this afternoon, I slowly drove by the place where I had picked up my latest curbside find, and lo and behold, there was the piece up on the grass.  When I had seen it last it had been on the street. I was so excited and happy and thanked God for this little gift to me.

Only missing one of those little round metal sun looking pieces.

I can certainly live with that.

What a happy ending.  Now I need to find hinges in the workshop to put the two doors back on, attach the missing piece, oil it all and lightly polish the brass tiles, then figure out how to hang it in place.

Mark would like this story.

Ditto, and I so like this story too. Surprised, not at all, you were so meant to have all those missing pieces, even if it did take a few days. That will be beautiful when oiled. Hugs, Jean.

Hi hon.
Now that is what I call a really Huge SHINY moment. The Lord loves to fill us up, loves to see us happy. I've missed you. I'd not written for awhile because I was having a lot of computer problems. Hoping today finds you happy, well, and enjoying life. Love you much.

I showed your beautiful find to Philip, who as a woodworker, was in complete awe.
