Good morning everyone ~ Well it’s morning here in s.e. FL, USA. We’ve had our coffee and pastry and I’ve been doing some Google searching for a tune that came into my head during the night. I’ll add some you tube videos at the end of this post if you care to watch and listen. The words that I could remember encouraged and inspired me this morning before I got out of bed. A nice way to start the day.
Thank you all for your lovely comment on yesterday’s bouquet. I got the urge to go out and pick flowers and the bouquet was the result. It is made up of Firespike blooms - Odontonema strictum, Copperleaf leaves – Acalypha wilkesiana, Autumn Sage - Salvia greggii, Hibiscus rosa-sinensis 'Rose Queen', ‘La Marne’ roses and another rose, and Snow Bush: Snow on the Mountain - Breynia Disticha.
The one night blooming cereus cactus bloom on the front arbor bloomed the other night and I’ve got 43 pictures to share so am planning to make a slideshow of them. It was quite exciting and worth the wait, but I didn’t smell a scent and of course, the bloom is over by morning. DH went out with me at night to hold a light for some of these photos. We even went out at midnight, after we’d been asleep for an hour or two.
Here is a teaser photo, this was with the flash.

Here are the lyrics that were going through my head during the wee hours of this morning, completely out of the blue. Not a tune I’ve heard in many, many years. An old hymn from my youth.
What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
Leaning on the everlasting arms?
Leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms.
This old hymn by Elisha A. Hoffman was published in 1887, and taken from the scripture verse in Deu 33:27 ~ The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms:
I found this lovely instrumental below.
I also found this joyous expression by Jocelyn Brown as a medley of two tunes. (I wasn’t able to embed the code here to play it on my blog.)
Here is the you-tube link.

Thank you all for visiting, reading and commenting on my little blog. It means a lot. Hope you all have a good week. May we all look for the good and count our many blessings in each day. May we be given peace and strength to meet what comes our way. May we be filled with the Love and Light that is Jesus, God Almighty.
