Good morning Everyone ~ Well, thunderstorms are coming our way today bringing another cold front. It is supposed to get down to 49 and feel like it's 42 tonight. The rain will be great and another bit of chilly weather will be nice too. So far it's partly cloudy, sun peeking out from between the clouds occasionally. It's warm also, but that will change this afternoon.
I want to thank Darla for the name of my hibiscus, Jane Cowell Hibiscus, in last post. Also thanks to Florida Girl for the name St. Joseph's Lily of the Hippeastrum family for the real name of the Ditch Lily. Ami thanks to you for reminding me of the type of orchid Epidendrum that I have, also known as Reed Orchids.
Thank you all for the comments on the hearts that DH made from seashells.

The first few are of Basket Plant, Callisia fragrans, blooms. The bees love this and their little legs get loaded with pollen. The scent of these flowers is delicately sweet. I love them.

Everything looks good, love the picket fence! We had 2 inches yesterday evening and in the overnight. The sun is out now but it's chilly. We will dip to the mid 30's the next two nights....enjoy your rain!
What a wonderful quote you have included today! So true! Your roses are beautiful...especially those shots against the sky. Your DH's comment made me smile. What with being a Florida girl born and raised, there was once a time when I thought every dormant or deciduous plant was dead. And I still have to remind my husband of what is just waiting so he won't yank it.
What a wonderful tour of your gardens once again. Every time you take us on a tour, I see new things to admire. Your roses are amazing, and I have never seen so many of the other plants you have growing in your garden. I hope it doesn't get too cold for you there.
You have so many nice focal points in your garden. We have had rain this AM and now it is heading your way. Both rain barrels are overflowing. That's a wonderful thing. We're supposed to have some gusty winds this afternoon and cooler air. I agree with you that it will be nice to have some more cool weather before the heat gets here.
What a beautiful garden you have. So much to see and so many wonderful plants. What a big fish! Wow, I would have liked getting a hook into that one, or maybe not because I would have had to swim. LOL! The Basket Flower is so pretty. I adore white blooms in a garden and the contrast of the Cocktail rose is beautiful.

We had rain yesterday, windy today; tomorrow night near freezing. It gets a little lower every time we hear a weather report.

OK, how did I miss seeing the Marlin before now?! I love it. Those Callisia blossoms remind of Spirea blooms, so dainty. Your garden looks great.
