Color on a gray morning & playlist is gone for good.

Good morning Friends ~ I went out earlier to get my morning inspiration from the gardens and here are the results.

Click on pictures for a larger view.

I'm near the back of our property, looking south, towards the road out front. On the left you can see, Snake Plants, Basket Plant flowers, Mother-of-millions, and others I can't think of. It's the Basket Plants (Callisia fragrans) I wanted to show as they are blooming all over the property, filling the air with their delicate scent. The bees just love these blossoms.

Here is a portion of our Melaleuca tree that came down in the hurricanes. We have it standing as a sculpture piece in our secret garden and I placed the Basket plants all around the base. These need no dirt to grow, and they send out babies.
Here is the Chrysler Imperial bud opening up a little more.

Blooms of Golden Dewdrop.

Sweet Mm. Laurette Messimy.

Morning glories.

Shovel bird high on his perch over the entryway into our 'junk yard'. The trees in the background are not that close, they are on the other side of the property that borders the back/north side of ours.

Here are Schefllera berries, along with some colorful croton leaves, and a stem from a vanda orchid.

Mom-of-millions blooms. Boy oh boy, this plant definitely makes millions of little ones. A leaf just has to fall to the ground and several will sprout and grow from it.

These next few pictures are of sweet La Marne.

I noticed this morning that there are now advertisements on my playlist music, saying that if I want it commercial free I'll have to pay $15 a month. NO THANK YOU. Thank you all for enjoying my soothing tunes and your kind comments about them. They were nice while they lasted.

That's it for now. Enjoy your life, whatever you do, wherever you live.

Just popping in for a little fix of your beautiful blooms. We're still in the depths of winter .. although not in the extreme depths as in the mid-west, east .. and even south USA. Thanks for sharing your little slice of heaven on this dreary day in the North Woods.

Hi Flowerlady...Your basketflower plant is a new one to me. The flowers look lovely. Tell me more about it...What does the plant look like...does is have a scent...does it bloom more than once a year? Thanks. That Mother of Millions is very exotic looking...pretty color. And your La Marne rose is absolutely stunning! Have a great day!

Oh my what pretty blooms to oooogle over on this cold morning here. Can't believe you have so much blooming right now. Mom-of-millions is so pretty. I'm not familiar with it. Love the 'shovel bird' - very creative.

They are all so beautiful. I think I need to make plans to sell my house and move down there. Your colors of the flowers are very heart warming.

Your garden is gorgeous. I love the idea of a delicate scent wafting through it. I know I have said it before, but I do wish I could be there in person... Mother-of-millions is a very unusual plant, I don't see it here. Your garden is full of color, and it is hard to believe you have so many blooms on La Marne.

Thanks for the tour of your gardens. That basket plant is really pretty blooming all throughout your space. I'm not familiar with it. You say it doesn't need dirt? Is it an epiphyte like an orchid or brom? Love, love, love La Marne. It has so many blooms. Thanks for sending some color my way on a very gloomy day.

I can only imagine a stroll through your secret garden. Thanks for sharing it with us, and giving us a sight of bountiful colors. The way you word and describe your post make us feel like we are right there beside you taking a walk with you.

What a lovely thing to see on this cold (6°) morning. All I see outside is white....it really is quite beautiful, but not fun to be out in very long.

Chrysler Imperial is on my short list for fragrant roses. The bud is beautiful.

Those Basket Flowers are pretty. I don't think I've seen those before. La Marne does look very sweet.

I am so loving your Morning Glorys! Such a lovely blue. We got another foot of snow, so I will have to just dream of flowers a little while longer. :) Kit
