Good morning everyone. Hope you have a great weekend. It's gray, humid, looks like rain. Yesterday it reached 85. I'm about to head off for work so no gardening or needlework for me today.

The new project is beautiful. I just crocheted a neckwarmer for myself and my husband said I think I might like one of those....so I finished up the row and gave it to him! He is outside in the cold more than I. He reports back that it works.

I thought hitting 68 this past week was great. 85 would be incredible. Love the blooms.
As someone who has done small scale work before, I know the patience and time a piece like that takes. Very nicely done. Be sure to let us see it when you're finished.

Kit ~ When MOM is full of blooms it is really pretty. This is called MOM because of all the gazillion babies that come up. The round piece on my work surface is a stained glass light.
SweetBay ~ I could hardly believe the scent of the St. Vincent Lilac yesterday. I'm going to move the plant close to our screened room off the back of our cottage so that we can enjoy it's beauty and scent.
Glenda ~ Glad the pictures added some color and brightness to you gray day. Now that you're back into crocheting, you are going to town with projects. I think it's really neat that your DH wanted a neckwarmer for himself and that it helped to keep the cold at bay.
Cameron ~ 85 was almost too warm. It was cooler yesterday, gray and windy.
Tom ~ 68 is a wonderful temperature. It's the temp that we'd like to have year round. :-)
I have seen your fine, miniature, detailed work and I was truly impressed. Talk about patience! Are you still doing that for clients?
