Plum Cottage Blooms

Good evening Friends ~ I hope you all have had and are still having a lovely Easter day. I'm just getting ready to put our honey, mustard, rosemary, garlic lamb in the oven. Will have mashed potatoes, tarragon carrots, LeSeur peas, mint jelly and mustard. For dessert, a key lime cheese pie with raspberry topping. A margarita to start and red wine with dinner. It will start smelling yummy in here once the lamb starts roasting.

Here are some pictures taken this morning and a couple of mornings ago. There are quite a few pictures here, so I hope it's not too much to view at once.

While hand watering some things this morning, I could smell all these wonderful scents and the birds were singing and I felt so thankful for our many blessings.

Remember to click on pictures for a larger view, if you wish.

Below is Thunbergia erecta or King's Mantle.
This is a favorite shrub of mine.

This is St. Vincent's Lilac
Solanum seaforthianum

This is Spiderwort not quite open yet.

These are little orchids that grow like crazy in my gardens,
with little care.

The next two pictures are of Smith's Parrish rose.
I love the hint of pink on the bud especially.

The next three are of Old Blush.

This is Vincent Godsiff.

The next two pictures are of Mutabilis and friend.

This is Louis Philippe or the Florida Cracker rose.

La Marne

The next two are hibiscus blooms.

Next we have Duchesse de Brabant.

Ducher

These are Don Juan and they are wonderful velvety roses.

These are the delightfully scented blooms of the Basket Plant,
Callisia fragrans.

I think this is Blanket Flower.
I just scattered these seeds in the main garden
and they are surprising me with blooms.

Happy Gardening
