Don't Quit

Dear Friends,

I don't remember where I got this piece below. It really touched and blessed my heart in all that has gone on this year and it's good to remember at all times. May you be blessed and encouraged wherever you are and in whatever your circumstances are.

Heaven is cheering you on—don’t quit.

Even when life feels heavy and the finish line seems far, 

you are not running this race alone.

A great cloud of witnesses—including all our loved ones who have gone before us—

is watching, 

and God Himself is with us every step of the way.

Our earthly perseverance has divine purpose and promise.

Hebrews 12:1-2 says:

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, 

let us throw off everything that hinders… 

and let us run with perseverance

 the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus…”

I get it—you may be tired,

 discouraged, 

or questioning the journey. 

But don’t give up.

I want you to know, we’ve all been there, 

and Heaven sees you, 

supports you, 

and is cheering for your victory.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, I personally invite you to take one more step.

Be strong. Don’t quit.

Speak life over yourself,

lean into God’s strength,

and remember—your race isn’t over.

You’re being cheered on by Heaven, 

and what God started in you, He will finish 

(Philippians 1:6).

Pray with me:

Father God in Heaven,

thank You for reminding me that I’m not alone in this race.

When I feel like giving up,

help me lift my eyes to You.

Give me the strength to endure,

the faith to believe,

and the courage to keep pressing forward.

I know Heaven is cheering me on, and You are with me.

I won’t quit.

In Jesus’ name,

I pray,

believe,

receive,

and praise.

Amen!
