it opened up a whole new world;
a world where every country walk would be an adventure,
where every garden would become an enchanted one."

Great photos, I love one with the big bee. Sadly, most of our flowers are done here.
What gorgeous pictures. I just loved Princess Grace of Monaco. What a loss when she died so young. xo Diana
Beautiful blooms. It looks like our cool weather has been put on hold again.
Hot and dry, here in Central Florida.
Have a lovely weekend.
Such beautiful flowers...I miss seeing them in my yard already!
Your gardens, your home, and your blossoms are so vibrant and lush. It looks like you're having very nice weather.
Do those roses smell as sweet as they look like they should ?
A beautiful story in your garden, lovely one with a bee taking nectar, perfect timing. Hugs to you for Autumn days.
Oh my goodness, your yard is gorgeous! Mine is pretty dead now, the storm we've had the last couple of days took all the leaves. I love that picture of that little honey bee, so cute! I've already started the countdown to next year's growing season :)
Happy Halloween FlowerLady!
I missed the bee and had to go back!
Such beauties you are still enjoying. I will now have to get my fix through your garden flowers.
You are blessed to be surrounded by beauty! Have a wonderful weekend. God bless you!
Hi Lorraine, your end of October blooms are gorgeous. Each one special and to be enjoyed. Love the quote by Princess Grace.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Blessings, cm
You do know how very much I love roses,so these pictures are perfect for me.Of course I love the ones without roses as well.Have a great rest of the weekend.
Lovely photos! We are loving our fall. Such color! :) Kit
My dearest Lorraine,,,, I come out of the mists! at last! As always I enjoyed so much your gorgeous flowers, and I have much to catch up on.... many of your posts to read yet.... but for now I pray that you are well and at peace. I've missed you dear lady! x
Lovely photos, Lorraine. Princess Grace was a true lady. We lost her too soon. xo
I agree with the words of P. Grace, each garden IS an adventure, even if it is in a windowbox. We still have a few hangers-on, blooming brightly amidst the yellowing and browning leaves. I spied a lone IRIS in my side garden yesterday! Your roses are still giving pleasure, how nice they are for their presence.
SO beautiful!! My flower beds are almost covered with leaves now, like a blanket for winter protection.
Rainey, for some reason I always associate Princess Grace and Princess Diana in the same thought; both lovely women who left wonderful legacies.
You still have blooms and I've had several hard frosts. Over the mountain, on Thursday, they had an inch of snow. Ole Man Winter is headed our way.
beautiful beautiful flower photos Lorraine! How was your weekend, my friend?
Such beautiful blooms still! We only have odd ones here and there...cooler nights and soon cooler days too...hoping for snow this year too.
Hmmmm, great you still have blooms. I have long been longing for those blue plumbago, i wonder why i still don't have it.
I'm always happy when I see your lovely flowers. Happy Fall to you too!
My roses are still blooming too. We have had a pretty warm fall so far. I even have a couple of blooms on my hibiscus. Your flowers are always so lovely. BTW went to my first BSF meeting and am now on the waiting list...praying that I hear soon. Be blessed and have a wonderful day
Gorgeous photos and flowers. The bee seemed to be really enjoying himself. Our flowers are fading with winter fast approaching.
Your cottage is just so charming and beautiful and the roses are gorgeous!

Very beautiful flowers. That first one reminds me of one we just saw in Hawaii -- a lipstick plant? It has another name, but that's the one I remember :) We have a few roses left, but not for long . . . the leaves are falling and so are the temps. Hope you're doing well Rainey. I do remember you in my prayers. xo Deborah
Beautiful!!! Hope you are having a lovely week my friend!
Hi Lorraine! Very lovely photos of your beautiful blooms! I love the different pink colors and I adore your cottage garden! I hope you are staying cool in this record-breaking heat we're having! Blessings Lynn
That is such a beautiful quote by a beautiful women. I loved seeing the photos of the gorgeous blooms you are still enjoying Lorraine. I love the capture of the bee gathering the nectar to take back home with him. I think he must absolutely love your garden. I do believe that every single garden IS enchanted, don't you. Princess Grace says it so well.
I hope your day is going great my dear!
much love to you,
