Here are a few roses from my humble cottage gardens. I’ve lost quite a few due to drought and some neglect over the years, but these are still going strong. It hurts so much to lose a rose, it makes me want to cry because I loved and enjoyed them all.
‘Bon Silene’ ~ I believe that’s what this is. No tag and it’s a cutting from the original that I got years and years ago.
‘La Marne’
Not sure what this one is.
‘Old Blush’ This bloom is about to fall apart.

Very pretty. It's hard to believe how people are scared of Roses and they are the ones you can usually count on to keep on blooming.

Oh I am jealous. I love roses but have never had luck in growing them. You have a wonderful green thumb.
Browsing your beautiful flowers is always a treat. My roses are over for another season--the last few gathered in October were dearly cherished.
My Old Blush still has some lingering blooms. Did you know it was called the First and Last Bloom of the year (or something to that effect). In my garden it is just that.
Enjoyed seeing yours. Our rose season is gone.
Oh I miss roses. I had a beautiful rose bush back in Idaho that we had to leave behind. It's definitely something I want to get back when we move next year :)
Such beautiful roses, Lorraine. Bon Silene is one of my very favorites. My sister has it and it's gone crazy; it must be seven feet tall. She's rooting a piece for me.

I would love to see your rose gardens in full glory. It is wonderful that you are still enjoying the blooms. Ours froze this week, so I plucked the frozen blooms and put them in a Christmas Wreath.
Hi FlowerLady, i didn't know what a caesar weed is, as you said in my post, so i browse back on your posts. Haha, so you call it that in Florida. I saw your gaillardia shots too and they are so beautiful, i have a few from my US friend blogger from Illinois. They look stunted and small here compared to yours, and I can't get pictures as beautiful as yours. May I know your camera and lens? thanks...Andrea

I've always said "there's nothing prettier than a rose and nothing tastier that a glass of ice cold milk" Whenever I want see some beauty I always make sure I stop by your blog - your flowers are always so gorgeous!

Hi Lorraine, This is the season when I especially enjoy seeing flowers from your area. Our yard is looking brown and drab now that winter is here.. We do have some Winter Pansies --but that's about it for us right now....

Sorry to hear you've lost a few over the years. It is such a disappointing/sad feeling to lose a treasured plant. This happens to me with both my orchids and hoyas from time to time.
I've been wondering how the caravan is coming along. And your DH?
