A New Blog - Plum Cottage Creations

Well, I've started another blog, this makes three. I'm thinking of another one for cooking, but that's just a thought right now. :-)

Since I plan to be selling things in my Etsy shop, also called Plum Cottage Creations, they suggested having a blog to show your works, your work space, etc. so that people can get to know the creator. This is an adventure, that's for sure.

If any of you are interested on this aspect of my life, click on the picture below. Maybe it will inspire you to create also.

Hope you are all having a nice Sunday.

Hello! I visited your Plum Cottage blog. It was fun learning about you and your husband. You two seem like quite a creative pair! Loved to see some of your paintings sometime!

Hi Thrifty Countrywoman ~ Thanks for taking the time to check out my new blog. The only paintings I have that I don't mind showing right now are some birds. They were done many years ago. I sort of got burned out, got into other things and I haven't painted in a long time. You can see the birds on my website here. http://www.rainyweather.com/watercolors/watercolors.htm

They are actual size on the website.

Hi! I checked out your paintings. They're beautiful! You should be very proud of yourself. I especially like the quail (I think that's what it is. I should know my birds better!) If you ever decide to take up the brush again and sell them on Esty, I'd be interested. If that's the actually size, I really tip my hat to you!

Good morning Thrifty Countrywoman. Thank you for visiting my website to see the bird paintings. Yes that is a quail. I bet he's a beauty to see in real life. Birds are wonderful creations. If I do put these up on Etsy, I'll let you know.

Have a great week ~ FlowerLady

Hi- I love your pages, they are peaceful, taseful and serene. There is one VERY disturbing bit, though. Many years ago I resitered and trademarked the name Plum Cottage and it is supposed to be mine exclusively througout the U. S.
As I also use the web to conduct business I suggest that to prevent confusion, infringement and legal problems you might cease using the name Plum Cottage ASAP. Perhaps another "cottage" would work for you? Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

To "plum cottage",

Would you please provide me links, verification and proof of your claim? Do you have a website?

I hope you can understand that I can't just take at face value an anonymous person coming in here making such claims. There is no contact information or verification of any kind in your post.

There are lots of websites using the name Plum Cottage. Are you going to go around telling them all they can't use those two words?

I am Plum Cottage Creations, not just Plum Cottage.

Sincerely ~ FlowerLady
