Spiders and a Lizard

DH found these spiders this morning. I’m not crazy about spiders, but they eat bugs, that means less mosquitoes for us.

They are fascinating even if they are creepy.

DH held up a piece of wood, painted on one side, non-painted on the other to see him from the opposite side without being distracted by my car that was sitting in the driveway. The spider was on the edge in the bushes.

In this picture, you can see where the webbing comes out of his/her body.

This guy was sitting right outside my window here while I was editing pictures. His orange throat going in and out is what caught my attention. I had to wait there for a bit until he realized I wasn’t a threat on the other side of the window and puff out his throat again.

I’ve got more pictures from today and yesterday, but it’s time to start dinner and have a glass of wine. I think dinner will be paella from the freezer, reheated. Easy-peasy.

Have a nice evening ~ FlowerLady
