Thought I would show you the space where I communicate from, and also where I create some of my needlework pieces. I have crochet and embroidery threads, yarns, beads, material, cardstock and photo papers, wire for crocheting with, books and magazines for inspiration, music, a window with a view, all in a 6'x 8' space.
The two stuffed birds, an owl and a hawk, are old, found probably 25 years ago at a local flea market for cheap. The above the door was in the neighbors' trash across the street. It was painted a glossy black. DH stripped and oiled it. It just fits this space.
Since my work is basically miniature is size, I don't need a whole lots of space to do it. I do need space for the materials though and work with the space I have. I am thankful for this little room, a place of my own, to contemplate, to share, to create.
If you don't 'think' you have any space like this, look around again, you might be surprised.
