Hi Friends ~ I am getting totally frustrated as I can't get pictures uploaded in blogger.
Is anyone else having this issue? I've spent hours trying to figure this out.
Many moons ago I used Windows Live Writer, then Open Live Writer. Today I tried to download Open Live Writer and Blogger has blocked the app so I cannot use that program.
I don't know what to do. There seems to be no real answers with Google. I have cleared my cache and cookies as suggested.
Posting pictures is a big part of my blog, rather boring posts without them. ;-)
That's it from Plum Cottage today. It was very hot and sweat was pouring as I worked outside this morning for two hours. I do take breaks and drink electrolytes. Temp was around 90 and real feel temp 95. Tomorrow is another day.
It's time to think about supper and to bring in the laundry from the clothesline.
Thanks for any help that you have with this situation.

Sorry I can't help you as I don't blog anymore. But when I did blog through Blogger, I always just uploaded my photos in the blogger template itself (using my laptop). Same with the writing of the post - did everything right in the Blogger template.
Horribly hot and humid here in IL, too. Right now it's 105 with the heat index. I went out to breakfast with a friend and now I'm staying inside. Yesterday evening when I was outside watering and cleaning bird baths, etc., I started feeling yucky and went inside and had bad heart palpitations. I'm not taking any chances!
I don't post often, but I haven't had any issues loading pictures into my posts. I have an Android smart phone, and since everything is connected to Google, I can just take the photos straight from my phone. I don't need a different app or anything. Maybe you're trying to use a nice camera? I just use my phone camera, which isn't great ... so maybe that's why?
Try this:

I have never used open live writer. But I did look at this and possibly you go to album first and then click create, not the other way around. Good luck! andrea
