Lost my navigation bar on blogger

Freak out!!! I had to do a Google search and get in through a back door. How did the navigation bar just disappear?  Has anyone had this happen before?  Is there a way to get it back?

We had a wonderful rain yesterday giving the gardens a much needed soaking which hopefully filled up the rain barrel once again, it was empty.

I think I’m ready for the plumbing project tomorrow.  My brother-in-law will be here around 8, nephew isn’t able to make it after all.  Dates were mixed up and he has to attend a rodeo event his daughter is in.  I understand that.  B-I-L and I can do it and I will enjoy helping as I always enjoyed helping my dear husband with any project, even though I sometimes did my fair share of complaining, I’m no saint.  We always had fun even with hard work, as we found things to laugh about that kept our spirits up.  I really have missed helping Mark with projects, so I’m really looking forward to working with Todd. Every time I hear power tools in the neighborhood, I miss Mark terribly. Sigh!

I’ve been looking for a couple of months at least now, for a great tool we have for cutting pvc pipe.  I was even the one that used it last when Mark was ill, so I must have asked him where it was at the time, and in the distress of everything, I forgot where I put it back. I looked on table surfaces, places I thought it might be, prayed about it too.  Then, night before last while in bed, it came to me to look in a certain set of drawers, I fell back to sleep, and remembered yesterday to look.  After going through a few drawers I found it.  Hip, hip hooray!!!! Thank you God for the nudge to look there.  The tool is called a water whiz.  It cuts pvc pipe like it’s butter and I love this tool.  I am so thrilled to have found it.  It is so much nicer than a hack saw.  Well, I ‘think’ this is the tool. I thought it had an orange handle and this one does.  I just can’t figure out how to get the cutting blade to open. Todd will know and hopefully I’ll remember how the next time I need to use it.

I cooked up a corned bee brisket with bbq sauce in the crockpot until it was good and tender.  I’ll pull it apart, for sandwiches tomorrow, serve chips, dill pickle, coleslaw, mntn. dew for Todd and I saw IBC Root beer that caught my eye for myself. (Haven’t had root beer in who knows how long.) I also bought at Big Lots the other day a tin of chocolate/hazelnut crème filled Piroulines, for a treat, $3.  Todd said he is looking forward to working with and eating with me tomorrow.  I hope all goes relatively smooth.

That’s it for now.  I hope you all have a great weekend whatever you do, wherever you.  Remember to count your blessings and tell others thank you and that you love them.

Hi Rainey! I consulted with my computer expert (Jamie) and he told me to go up to the area where the navigation bar should be and right click. A little box will pop up and there's a place that says restore navigation bar. Hope that helps. Thank goodness for the younger generation! It seems the know about computers through osmosis or something. Hope your plumbing problem is an easy-peasy fix!

Your menu for the "workers", you included, sounds yummy. That is one great gadget for PVC pipe cutting. Down here another fine morning, looking like the day will be a scorcher again, 28C yesterday. Thanks for your comforting words. Greetings, Jean.

The food alone should be reason enough for a good day. Hope everything goes smoothly and the work all gets done.

Via what Jane said is how I would try to restore "anything" that goes missing.

When I look across the top menu files I have a View button. When you click on that you go to tools. When on tools you click on navigation and it puts a check mark on it. The same goes with the bookmarks toolbar. I know computers are different but I can run the cursor over some spots on the area of either tools and if you mistakenly click you cancel it out. No biggy as long as you can find where the commands are to allow you to view things.

Hey I haven't had my friends show up in almost 2 years now and they won't fix that so nothing is positive with then on fixing anything.

Glad you found your pipe cutter tool. I have also prayed to find lost items and God always helps me out. Hope you have a great weekend and get a lot done.

Trying to get caught back up with all the blogs I follow, I hope all goes well with the plumbing work. We have a fella that we are planning to call as soon as we can afford it to dig up our supply line to the house and replace it as he noted that our pipe is so old that we are getting very little flo to the house when he came to help us replace a valve a few months back. We will also get him to fix the leak in the hall bathroom... it drips constantly and I am sure our water bill is going up because of it. I put a bowl under the drip to catch water for the cat to drink. Saves the water from going directly down the drain and keeps the cat from spreading water all over the floor.

I hadn't noticed anything different with Blogger, but I have my stats page bookmarked in my "Favorites". Since I always like to look at my stats first and see how many have looked at my posts, I do that first and then just navigate from there.

I know you'll have a productive day. I am the "helper" too so I know exactly what you mean.

I always say Hubs has every tool known to man but I don't think he has this one. Looks like it might open if you slipped that wire clamp off the end of the handles.

Yeah, I've prayed for help in finding things, too. It always works. Hugs!

Rainey, by now you're probably well on your way to getting the plumbing repairs done. I smile when I think of you and your helper. And soon it will be time to eat that delicious meal you have prepared.

I hope you've been able to restore your blog navigation bar; I have been having lots of problems with my blog lately too, and I'm going to try some of the tips your other commenters have posted to see if it helps.

Hugs to you, Rainey, and I hope your day is productive and fun.
