Rosie

Hi Folks ~ Hope all of you in Canada had a lovely Thanksgiving Day today.

Hard to believe how fast the holidays are sneaking up on us. Have fun with all of your plans and decorating.

I’m worn out from this morning, mowing and dealing with overgrown weeds, climbers etc. At least it was cooler and there was the occasional cool breeze.  I’ve still a ‘lot’ more to do, but at least I made forward progress and it felt good to do so.

Before mowing this morning I went out with camera in hand and little Rosie came running, even though I didn’t have any breakfast with me. What a sweetie.  I am falling for this little critter. He/She did not like walking in the wet grass  but came to me anyway.

I love this little stretch she was doing. (notice I’m calling it a she, even though I don’t have a clue yet as to what the sex is.)

She liked walking on the cement better. I noticed that she has a few white hairs on her chest.

Here is proof that she’s letting me pet her already. She even is starting to wrap herself around my feet as I walk. She purrs when I pet her and she’s definitely getting more lovey. Smile

That’s it for now. Hope you all have a great week ~ FlowerLady

It is so nice that you are enjoying your bible study group. Studying the scriptures will be a great comfort for you. I love your little tree that you "freed" for the strands of lights. I found a little tree about that size curb side a few years back and also had to wire cute the lights off of. It's great and I decorate it every year!

Dear Lorraine, little Rosie is so sweet! Do you think she is a stray? If that is the case, I am so glad that you feed her and take her under your wings. Little kittens like her shouldn't be on their own. It is so nice to hear that she is warming up to you!
Warm regards,
Christina

Rosie, like our Boris, will have a way into your heart without even asking. She is a beauty, and looks so happy in her new home. Maybe she stopped to smell the roses, and stayed. Hugs to you.

How can you resist such sweet innocence? The angels dropped her right where this little darling would be loved and cared for. You are a dear for being so kind. Hugs xo Karen

Looks like you got yourself a pal, Rainey! You're taking good care of her, her coat is lovely and sleek. When Georgie stretches like that, we say he's doing his yoga.

Well it looks like she has tamed up nicely.

You can look under the tail to tell if it's a he or a she. There ought to be a couple little nubbins there by now if it's a he.

I adopted a black cat once, long ago. He was very affectionate. Usually they do have a little splash of white, either under the chin or on the belly.

Hi Lorraine, your little sweetie looks "here to stay". She or He is realizing you are her friend with a big kind heart. I think you will know if kitty is a she or he shortly! Lovely pics and so sweet the stretching photo.
Have a nice week! Blessings, xo

Everybody needs a kitty. Rosie looks a lot like our Ike, who adopted us 6 years ago. He is black with white hairs. He does that little stretch, too.

She's yours! Next she will want to come inside with you.

Each little job we get done, is a step in the right direction. Good for you taming your garden again.

Have a super week.

Those stray kitties that come into our life are just so grateful and loving and are the best. I have three of my own and I just adore them. I hope you find out the sex soon. It can be difficult to tell. I adopted a cat from a neighbor who thought he was a girl. I did too. Ha, took 'her' to the vet to be spayed and get shots and the vet informed me she was a boy who had already be neutered AND declawed. It befuddles me why he was a stray in the the middle of February with snow on the ground. The lady who found him did not want him and did not care for him. She contacted me because I had recently lost my gal cat when we moved. It was tough to lose her and I hunted for her a lot to no avail. I like to think she is happy we took in the new cat.

Rainey, I'm so happy that Rosey is becoming friendlier. What a sweet kitty. He/She reminds me so much of our late great cat, Screech. Rosey is very, very lucky to have found you.

Rosie is adorable--how cool that she's being so brave and friemdly. I love black cats; they're just so pretty. We have a black cat named Bubbles, and she's gorgeous and a total diva.

It's so sweet to see you and Rosie bonding. She's really cute. I love her little face. She's a girl until proven otherwise :) How long does it take to confirm her sex?

She is so sweet! Rosey is very lucky to have found you and I think she is bringing you such love and making you (and all of us) smile! Glad she is getting more cuddly! Happy Weekend!

Rosie is learning to love you and let you love her. It's a good thing!

What a little love! I'm so glad you are watching over her. A little kitten just showed up at my mother-in-law's that she was wanting to feed. A little calico thing that's just adorable. She's made friends with him, and I just dropped off a huge bag of cat food at her to feed the little thing. At least the guy will be set in the food department :-)
