Good Easter morning to all of you. May your day be filled with love and peace and may we all remember what this day celebrates.
The old hymn ‘He Arose’ comes to mind this Easter morning and is one of my favorite Easter hymns. It is so triumphant, full of the wonder and beauty of what God did for us. He came into humanity as a baby, Jesus is His name, He grew up and gave His life for us. He conquered sin and death, so that we’d have life eternal, and life more abundantly here and now as we trust in Him for all that we need. He has promised to never leave or forsake us, He is with us always. One day we will see Him and know Him as He is, God, our Creator, the Great I AM. How wonderful that will be.
We have all sinned and come short of God’s glory. But by His grace, He saves all who believe in Him. Our sins are washed away and we are made perfect in Him.
Here is an upbeat version of this old hymn.
