Motivation can be a fleeting thing. I have a lack of it myself lately, too. Soon, life will straighten out, and the day will come when photos and the stories about them flow easily from your imagination. Till then .... I'm here.
This journey is full of ups and downs. Sometimes we do need to pull away and regroup again. I prayed for you this morning. This life is not easy.I pray for you to have strength as you travel it. Kathy
Have a good break FlowerLady. I certainly can identify with you. I've taken my break and am still missing a little bit of motivation. It's hard in today's world. I hope the break serves you well, and you come back feeling renewed. I'll keep you in my thoughts :-) xoxo
Wow Lorraine, The statue is such a true depiction of how we can feel at times. Often after we've given all we have - and there seems 'nothing left' inside. But thanks be to God that His mercies are new every morning; and I know you will rally again : ) - given the rest you need~ Your photo's are beautiful and your needle creations stunning my friend! You are an inspiration to so many. Enjoy your rest and we will watch for you when you return~ Karen O
I pray that out of His glorious riches God may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your heart richly, Lorraine. Your sweet spirit will be missed, but times of refreshment must be taken when needed. Sending you much love & hugs~~ Debbie
I suggest a tall glass of wine (wait, it's only 7 AM - well, that's okay), a stroll around your beautiful cottage garden, and some lovin' from your furry family members. If that doesn't help . . . double the wine.
In the meantime, know that you have an entire blogger community thinking of you and wishing you the best. Love and hugs dear Rainey.
Hi Lorraine! I just had to come tell you that for EVER, I also had trouble with geraniums! I just recently found out that they are succulent-like, and don't like water very much! So, I went to the store and bought two tiny ones in like 3 inch pots, and planted in full sun. They get an occasional sprinkle from the lawn sprinklers, but otherwise, I don't touch them. I don't even deadhead them...and they are really growing!!! They bloom absolutely CONSTANTLY! I think you would love them, and hope you will give one another try in a sunny location with bare bones water. Have a fabulous weekend! Not to worry, your creative spirit will be back soon. I have lost mine so many times, I can't tell you.
Even in the best of times its hard to stay motivated. We all have days that are grey rather than sunny. Hope you feel the sunshine soon - its always fine to have a little break. Thinking of you - Kate x
Hope all is well,Rainey. You deserve a break after all that painting and fixing up.
