Under the weather

Well, yesterday morning I woke up with a sore throat, feeling headachy and achy all over, and feel pretty dragged out and miserable this morning.

I'll just post some pictures taken the last couple of days, no comments.

Hope you all have a great week.

The best six doctors anywhere

And no one can deny it

Are sunshine, water, rest, and air

Exercise and diet.

These six will gladly you attend

If only you are willing

Your mind they'll ease

Your will they'll mend

And charge you not a shilling.

Nursery rhyme quoted by Wayne Fields,
What the River Knows, 1990

  1. Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly - we had that bug week before last. We found it required a LOT of rest.

  3. Hope you feel better soon. Last week I woke up the same way, thinking it was from sleeping with the windows open on too cool a night. I'm just starting to feel like myself this morning. The spacey feeling in my head is still there, but the coughing and congestion is gone.

Take a lot of naps. Eat well. Feel better.

  4. Hope you feel better soon. It sounds like something similar to what is going around here too. (Edmonton, Canada) Rest and fluids and a lovely view of your beautiful garden will have you good as new in no time. Thanks for sharing today despite being ill. Best wishes,

    Shirley

  5. So sorry to hear you're feeling poorly. Hope it passes fast. Lovely photos. What are the purplish trumpet shaped flowers? Are they all the same? Get your rest and listen to those six doctors!

  6. Sorry to read this Flowerlady - I hope that those 6 you mentioned will help you feel better soon. Once the kids go back to school these bugs always seem to start up again.

Your pictures are lovely - I like the angle you took the passion flower at but my favourite is the last one though I am unaware of the type of flower. It just looks so soft with those furry stems

  11. I'm very sorry you're not feeling well! I'll practically crawl to my computer when I'm sick so I can feed my soul by blogging and thinking about all the pretty plants! Speaking of pretty plants, I absolutely love the passionflower. What kind is it?
