Here are those apple shells recently found by DH. He hung this shelf unit for me today, we found it a month or so ago, curbside shopping. This is outside our backdoor, in our soon to be screened room. Our plum colored cottage is fading to a gray.

Very cute and very Florida.
ReplyDeleteYour shells look great displayed on that very nice shelf. I love shells and have them everywhere...indoors and out. That flamingo plate really caught my eye...very nice!
ReplyDeleteOh so nice! You found that shelf on a curb?? Incredible what folks will get rid of. I love those plates too! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful wall display. I love your new header photo, such a lovely rose.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty combination.
ReplyDeleteI like the gray too.
Be sure to show us the screened porch when it is finished. I bet it gets as much use as any room in the house when done.
The shelf looks great. Like the plates too!. I love that plummy gray color. Wish I could have such a color on my house but it has a green roof! Hardest color to come up with a pleasing palette!

Very nice arrangement!
ReplyDeleteI love your shells, and your shelves. Great find!!! I love curbside shopping! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you so much for your encouragement! Going through a touch time momentarily, and your kindness warmed my heart!
I like it! You find some great treasures in your curbside shopping. I never see anything around here.
ReplyDeleteLove this. You've taken something people do indoors and moved it into a new environment. It is perfect and a great surprise.
ReplyDeleteThanks a zillion dear Flowerlady,

Growing up near the beach, I do love seashells but have never seen any like yours. They are just lovely.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful tribute to the shells. Curb side shopping; you cracked me up with that one. I see these type shelf’s often when at the Goodwill store. I never thought of using one outside…
ReplyDeleteGod blesses you with some fun finds! I love your shelf and the arrangements. I like that photo of your reflection and your pretties on the other shelf, too.
ReplyDeleteI love seashells, too. They don't grow naturally here, but they're fossilized in our limestone rocks, so I feel good about using shells from the beach as decors.
ReplyDeleteA nice display. It is fun to collect shells especially if you don't get to see the sea that often.
