  2. Lovely pictures! Is the plumbago in a hanging basket, or just growing up against the fence?

  3. Good morning, I hope your day is a great one.

Catherine ~ That is a pretty blue color. I love blues in my garden, as they make it feel cooler and look lovely.

Sweet Bay ~ Thank you. The plumbago is growing in the neighboring property, it is hanging over our privacy fencing.

I was sitting outside yesterday afternoon and the shadows, sunlight and blue color begged me to go get my camera. The five views are all from the same shot.

  4. I really wish I could grow plumbago here. I had some seeds, but I wintersowed them and of course, nothing germinated. They are beautiful plants. They just can't take our winters.

  5. I have the same plumbago. One of the hubbies lawn customers gave me 5 sprigs of it last summer. All 5 have done great and are about to bloom.

  7. Tom ~ Sorry your plumbago seeds did not germinate for you. I have things I would love to grow here but they won't because of our heat and humidity. I have to enjoy them via gardens on the web.

Dirt Princess ~ You are going to enjoy these blue bloomers. How neat to have someone give you 5 sprigs of it. I need to try cuttings to see if I can get more growing to spread around the property.

Karen ~ It would make a wonderful addition to your beautiful gardens. Will it not grow in your area?

    Happy Gardening everyone ~ FlowerLady
