I had that, but didn't have any luck with it at all. I posted some info and a link to this Fortnight Lily, Dietes iridioides. I just read that it likes some shade and mine are in full sun, so I may move them, to where, I don't know off hand.

SweetBay ~ It is Dietes iridioides. I had to ask in the FL Gardening forum, because I didn't know. I've just called it an iris.

I would love to be able to grow more iris, but the bearded ones and others do not like our heat and humidity.

FlowerLadyFlowerLady Lorrainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17678852154334714784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5353873250655389819.post-74481734330124687042009-02-18T12:43:00.000-05:002009-02-18T12:43:00.000-05:00Lovely iris. I moved it in the fall and am hopeful of blooms this year, as it is sitting atop the ground now.
NellJean Campbellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09000315400392984647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5353873250655389819.post-64273722070015547272009-02-17T18:56:00.000-05:002009-02-17T18:56:00.000-05:00Oh, that's so inspiring!
