They sure look pretty and calming, at least. Thrifting is so much fun, especially with a friend. I love your display in front of your pretty window. Do a search for free patterns on the Internet, maybe look on Pinterest accounts, and you might find similar patterns to those in the book that you like.

I did not know that patterns published in copyrighted books were not usable for making items for sale. From the looks of things, a lot of others don't know that either.

I've been told that, with recipes, if you change one thing, you are not violating any copyright laws because it's no longer the exact recipe. Maybe it's that same way with crochet instructions. Add a row or a couple stitches somewhere, and you're there. Yikes! God was watching over you. I'm so glad your family visited and look at the wonderful fresh food they brought! What a blessing. Of course, your blooms are beautiful. But nope, don't like those giant spiders. You guys down there grow your bugs BIG! Lovely stitching on the heart. I like the butterfly you are creating in beads. We have a transformer at the end of our driveway. Squirrels used to get up there and blow it up pretty often. Our electric company put a cage around it now to keep them out. Being without electricity is a scary thing during a storm. It can also be unhealthy if the humidity is high, as my husband has COPD and has more trouble breathing in high humidity.

I saw those lights at a flea market booth and had never seen them before.
