Prosperity Roses

This is one sweet little rose. I love the little bunches of them and their scent is a delicate rose scent. This shrub is growing by the back shed, along the fencing that hides my potting area.

These have an old lace coloring that I just love.

"Silently a flower blooms,
In silence it falls away;
Yet here now, at this moment, at this place,
The world of the flower, the whole of
the world is blooming.
This is the talk of the flower, the truth
of the blossom:
The glory of eternal life is fully shining here."

Wow, you weren’t kidding about keeping us hopping with another post. Beautiful roses and a quote to match meets all expectations of a grand post. You are hitting close to my heart : I have a sunny space cleared : the design in my head : materials purchased ~ now all I need is someone to show up to make my dream of a rose garden come true. “Good help is hard to find.”

I have a Prosperity rose, but it never blooms this profusely. Yours is just beautiful--and I love how you describe the color. It really is just like old lace.

I LOVE white roses. I've got a small fledgling trying to survive my erroneous planting site. Your post has me thinking I should move it and give it a fighting chance. Gorgeous photos!
