We had some nice rain

Good morning Friends ~ We finally got a good soaking during the night Tuesday, and more during the day on Wednesday, nothing yesterday. Who knows what today will bring. The rain sure did this girls' heart good and the gardens enjoyed it too.

Here are a couple of pictures of the rain clouds rolling our way on Wednesday morning.

Below is a Gulf Fritillary butterfly on Pinwheel Jasmine blooms.

Here we have Tork relaxing in the screened room on the latest bench.
She enjoys this space as there are no mosquitoes to bother her,
there is some shade and coolness from plants and breezes too.

The next few pictures are of blooms from the Dwarf White Orchid tree. I love these.
I have two of them growing in huge terra cotta pots, and grew them from seeds.
One is almost taller than I am and I'm right around 5'6".

Thanks for visiting.
Hope you all have a great day today and a really nice weekend.

Such beautiful sky pictures. It is always beautiful even in a storm isn't it?

What good close-ups of those lovely white flowers--they look exotic--serene--calming. A plant that we grow from seed is especially cherished.
Your cat looks utterly relaxed--I've noticed that cats can make a hard surface look very comfortable.

We, too, finally got some much needed rain..Yahoo! I love your dwarf white orchid tree flowers...very lovely. It was so thoughtful of you to send one of your homemade embroidery pieces to Gina. It was very lovely, as was your thoughtfulness.

Glad you are getting some rain. It sure makes life easier for gardeners.

No wonder you like the Dwarf White Orchid Tree. It is beautiful and to think it started as a small seed.

Tork knows how to relax....
