Recuperating :-)

Good morning Friends ~ Well, I am home from the dentist. She extracted the tooth, after giving me two doses of Novocain. The first dose wasn't enough, after the second dose, I was shaking, and crying. Sheesh, what a big baby! Then she came in and pulled it out and that was that. My left eye is still watering, my face is puffy and drooping too. A real beauty, NOT. DH filled my prescription and got me some soups and yogurt. I'm going to relax for the rest of the day.

Hope you all have a lovely day. It's gorgeous weather here, so I may just lay out in our screened room on the swing. Think I'll fix some nettle tea too.

This is Old Blush and Copper Leaf.

Going to the dentist is never fun. Sounds like Hubby is taking good care of you. Relax and spend the day in that porch swing. Take is easy, and get better soon!

I hope the medication keeps you comfortable. It'll all be over in a matter of days. Get some rest. Cool day here with chilly winds.

I hate it how the whole half side of the face is numb and when you drink that you can't feel half of your lips. Take care, I hurt for you.

I'm glad it's behind you, too! I have a real dentist "thing", too, so I sympathize more than you can imagine.

Be sure to take all the pain medication your need.

Oh, that sounds awful! : ( Enjoy the beautiful day while you recuperate! I see you managed another beautiful shot of your roses! I love the way the rose picks up the bright pink in the copperleaf. : )

I'm so glad to hear you're OK...sort of. I hope you are feeling better soon. DH is a dear for taking care of you. Do spend the day out on the new porch and enjoy that wonderful space. You might try some ice on that area to help with swelling, it will ease the pain as well. Take care, rest and take drugs liberally.

This is a perfect use for that wonderful screened porch. Take it very easy and don't do anything strenuous at all.

Glad it is now behind you.

Spending the day on the porch swing on your porch is the ideal place for you as you recover. Take tender care of yourself, and it sounds like hubby is being very attentive.

Oh poor sweet baby, I hate dentists! I have had my share of work, so happy you have it done now. Take care, know I am sending you the healing fairy right now!

Oh you poor thing! Having a tooth pulled is the pits. Now be careful you do not get a dry socket. And take care of yourself. Sending hugs!

A few days of lots of tv, reading and computer and you'll feel better.

Oh my friend - I missed out on blogging yesterday.

Did you know you might be allergic to the type of novocaine she gave you? The shaking is what alerted me to that.

You might ask for the 'old' type of novocaine the next time.

If they give me the newer stuff I start shaking terribly and I get really cold and sweaty and need a warm blanket.

It leaves me totally foggy headed afterward and ill for a number of hours.

Something to keep in mind.
