Morning views

Good morning Friends ~ Here it is the end of another week. Hope your week was a good one and that your weekend is great.

Below are some pictures I took this morning. Rain and more rain is what we have been having. So nice for the gardens and nice for the gardener who doesn't have to lug hoses around. It's really great not being in drought conditions anymore.

Have a good day. Click on pictures for larger view.

The Cloud

I bring fresh showers for the thirsting flowers,
From the seas and the streams;
I bear light shade for the leaves when laid
In their noonday dreams.
From my wings are shaken the dews that waken
The sweet buds every one,
When rocked to rest on their mother's breast,
As she dances about the sun.
I wield the flail of the lashing hail,
And whiten the green plains under,
And then again I dissolve it in rain,
And as laugh I pass in thunder.

The rain makes everything look so fresh doesnt it? A good cleaning (that YOU dont have to do!) for your garden.

Your seating area looks so inviting. I know rain is a main component of your year round weather, but it looks refreshing to me today.

Debbie ~ Everything does look great after the rain. Refreshed and energized.

L.D. ~ We've been having a lot of rain for a few months now. Our normal summer weather is afternoon thunderstorms. Forgot what that was like when we were in that 3-4 year drought. The new seating area is a nice secret little spot to stop and rest or contemplate.

Cameron ~ The first picture I took was of the purple crape myrtle blooms just outside the screened porch. I had to turn off the flash to get the early morning light and look.

Sweet Bay ~ Thank you. I love clouds in the sky and need to take more pictures.

Have a great weekend everyone.
